 Courses College Credit Courses RET 2264 Ventilatory Techniques — 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: consent of the professor. This course introduces students to artificial mechanical ventilation, classification of ventilators, indications, contraindications and side effects of mechanical ventilators, and modes of ventilation. Alternatives to conventional ventilation will also be studied as well as a review of current literature on mechanical ventilation. Three contact hours. A.S., A.A.S.
