DEA 0001 Clinical Practice I

Prerequisite: High school diploma or GED. Corequisite: DEA 0023. This course is an introduction to clinical assisting skills. Students will assist with introducing the patient to the clinic and operating policies, establishing records, perform as chairside dental assistants with various procedures. Field trips will be scheduled for the purpose of broadening the scope of the dental assisting professional.
