PMT 0141 Gas Tungsten Arc Ferrous Metals

Prerequisite: PMT 0134. This course is designed to give students the required skills to make quality welding using the GTAW process on butt, lap and tee joint in the flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions on carbon steel. The instruction will be individualized and will consist of classroom instruction and laboratory assignments. Students will use information contained in the textbook, workbook, video tapes, and instructions and demonstrations by instructor to complete the assignments. Students must purchase the textbook, workbook, and all personal equipment.
