Counseling
This office provides short-term counseling
to help students deal with personal, academic and career concerns.
The primary goal of this counseling is to help students develop
the personal awareness and skills necessary to take full advantage
of the educational opportunities at the College. Referrals to
community agencies are made for longer-term or more serious concerns.
Appointments to see a counselor may be made in person or by calling
your campus counseling
and advising office. Students requiring immediate help will
be seen on an emergency walk-in basis. Information shared during
counseling will be treated confidentially.
Note: Faculty wishing to recommend counseling to a student should
follow the recommendation procedure.
