Student recruiters
are responsible for the overall marketing and recruitment efforts
for an assigned area of responsibility (workforce programs or
high schools). Services may include new
student recruitment, community outreach, public information,
promotional events and developing and implementing marketing
and recruitment plans.
Student recruiters meet with prospective
students in many settings such as high schools, adult high
schools, business and industry, higher education institutions,
community agencies, etc. They also manage and coordinate recruitment
activities for their assigned responsibility College-wide.
: Student recruiters
plan large campus tours and oversees the College’s
representation at high schools.
Student
recruiters work in partnership with program staff and area businesses
to implement a wide variety of recruitment activities targeting
the companies’ personnel.
Student recruiters plan College-wide and program
specific open houses. They also represent or ensure that the
College is represented at community college fairs, career fairs
and employee benefits expos.
