FCCJ Web-based Adjunct Training Tips and Support (WATTS)

Florida Community College at Jacksonville recognizes the tremendous value and commitment of adjuncts and their contribution to teaching excellence.

The College realizes that teaching can be complex and challenging. In order to provide support, the WATTS pages have been designed to assist adjunct faculty with effective strategies pertaining to course preparation, instruction and wrap-up. In addition, the frequently asked questions section addresses many issues that are of interest to all adjuncts.

Each month a new teaching tip will be presented by fellow adjuncts in order to highlight best practices in relation to teaching strategies and course management. If you would like to contribute a teaching tip, please contact us.

It is our hope that the WATTS pages are helpful as you develop your courses. We look forward to hearing from you with suggestions and feedback.
