Bob Mayer has thirty books published both under his own name and pen names, including Robert Doherty, under which he is USA Today best-selling author. He has over two million books in print and co-wrote the April 2006 novel, Don’t Look Down, with NY Times best-seller Jennifer Crusie. Mayer has taught novel writing for numerous colleges, workshops and conferences, and his Novel Writer’s Toolkit has been published by Writer’s Digest. Before becoming a full time writer, Mayer graduated from West Point and served in the military as a Special Forces A-Team leader and teacher at the JFK Special Warfare Center and School.
